Active Brace and Limb will check your insurance benefits, however your insurance company does not guarantee those benefits until final billing. The patient always has the right to call their insurance company to check on their benefits, deductibles and co-pays. If an item is not covered, it is considered patient responsibility, with payment due on date of service. The patient has the right to appeal and can contact their insurance company regarding items they feel should have been paid. Most insurance companies require a device to be "medically necessary" in order to be covered.
