Active Brace and Limb was formed by local area practitioners in 2001 to provide a personalized alternative for northern Michigan residents in need of orthotics and prosthetics. We have since expanded to three locations and 16 employees.
Active Brace and Limb employs both ABC and BOC certified practitioners, mastectomy fitters, and pedorthists, and offers over eighty years of combined experience in orthotics and prosthetics. Our facility is registered for the orthotic and prosthetic residency site program which allows graduates to achieve their required clinic training hours. We take pride in hiring and developing all of our employees within the organization. The Mission of Active Brace and Limb is to provide quality orthotic and prosthetic products and services to the community of northern Michigan in order to restore maximum function and enhance the lives of the clients we serve. We strive toward excellence through commitment to professional competency and continuing education, integrity in our business practices; with caring and respect toward our clients as individuals.
